Fri 15th June. Early Years Pirate Day.

Today, the Reception and Nursery classes held a children initiated Pirate Day.

Children and teachers came to school in pirate fancy dress and the children all participated in sea-dog based learning activities.

We made skull & crossbones flags, periscopes, eye patches, bandanas and swords. We also completed a pirate number treasure hunt.

Year 6 camp 2012. Gorran Haven, Cornwall.

This time it was Year 6 who benefitted from Easton Primary School’s policy of providing as many children as possible with an outdoor camping and learning experience.

At the end of last term, children got to try their hand at lots of new and exciting activities; kayaking, fishing, rock pooling and coasteering all in the beautiful countryside of South Cornwall.

Fri 1st June. The Queen's 60th Jubilee celebrations.

We had a very special visitor at Easton Primary school today. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II!

We rolled out the red carpet and held a red, white and blue street party in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Her Royal Highness arrives!

Much fun was had by everyone.
