Welcome back! We have a new school vision...
Hope you all had a good break. We've now had our first full week back after the summer holidays, and everyone is ready to learn and have fun. What an inspirational summer it was!
Our school now has a new vision:
'Learn and Believe; Inspire to Achieve'.
We also have six values that will be explored throughout the year:-
Term 1 - Thanks
Term 2 - Respect and Reverence
Term 3 - Responsibility and Justice
Term 4 - Trust
Term 5 - Excellence
Term 6 - Courage

Thu 19th July. Olympic Closing Ceremony.
To culminate a fun and active week organised by Miss Scott and her team, we held our Olympic Closing and Medal Ceremony.
What a great last week we've had at the end of an excellent year!!!

Our brilliant and talented year 6 children put on a fabulous show for the entertainment of the other children, staff and parents. There wasn't a dry eye in the house!

Tue 17th July. Early Years Sports Day.
We were blessed with great weather for our Olympic themed sports day this year. Children participated in fun old favourites such as the sack race and egg & spoon...

Mr McCarthy and Treloweth School Year 3 camp with us.
Last week, Year 3 children from Treloweth school came to visit us all the way from Cornwall. They camped in our playing field for a few nights, sharing learning and good times with the Easton Year 3 children who also camped over as part of the Easton Under Canvas project.
A great time was had by all and by all accounts, one of the highlights was the roaring camp fire...

Tue 17th July. Easton Tae Kwon Do club.
Today some people moved up a grade in Tae Kwon Do club after 3 years of very hard work!

Tue 17th July. Olympic Opening Ceremony.
We held our Olympic Opening Ceremony today. Children have been learning about different countries in multi-age classes, and made national dress and flags for our parade of athletes.

We had two very special visitors at our parade. Firstly Darren Hamilton an ex-Easton pupil and professional boxer gave us an inspirational and informative talk.

Wed 11th July. Bristol Speaking and listening competition.
Superb speakers from all over Bristol performed at a special competition, attended by the Lord Mayor, at St Teresa's Primary school in their outdoor ampitheatre.
